Scope 3 agriculture

Agricultural Scope 3 fails on sourcing-region evidence rather than on emission factors. Phoeniks characterises the regions a buyer actually sources from — land cover, yield trajectory, water dependency, deforestation exposure — so the reported footprint rests on located facts, not on national averages.

01

What it delivers#

  • Region-level land-cover and yield characterisation for each sourcing origin.
  • Deforestation exposure aligned with the EUDR cut-off date.
  • Source provenance for every layer used, exportable to the reporting file.
  • Evidence levels distinguishing measured, modelled and inferred figures.
02

Where the boundary is#

Phoeniks does not compute an emissions inventory or apply emission factors. It supplies the located agricultural evidence the inventory is built on.

Frequently asked

Do you need supplier-level data?
No. Sourcing regions are enough for a defensible characterisation. Supplier records are used only when the client provides them and a lawful basis is documented.
